In a letter signed by the Acting General in charge of operations at the Ghana Meteorological Agency(GMA), information reaching us states that there is a high chance of a rainstorm set to happen on Wednesday the 18th September, 2019.
In the course of spreading the news, the agency is advising that keen precautionary measures be taken and put in place to avoid any unforseen situations.
Listed below are the areas that are expected to be affected;
Upper West Region- Wa
Northern and Bono East(Yendi,Tamale nd Kpandae, Salaga, Bimbila and their environs)
Volta Region (Ho and its environs)
Eastern Region (Begor, Nkawkaw, Mamekrobo,Kwahu Kotoso, Koforidua and theirs evirons)
In a bid to ensure precautionary measures,the letter annouced that: “The rain is likely to remain over the Eastern Region , close to about 6hours with expected rainfall amount of about 57mm.
And added that, areas just north of the coast are expexted experience slight to moderate rains in the evening, however the entire public is advised to take the necessary precaution when going out.
