Bishop J.N.K Boateng is the founder of Gospel Revival Church Of Christ located at Sofoline in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Kumasi.
Addressing the press, he said before Ghana gained independence, Gold coast was Ghana’s initial name, but after our first President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the name Gold coast changed to Ghana and that has brought mischief to the country, he said.
He added that, the black star in the Ghana flag is a curse and therefore should be eliminated. He explained that, black colour actually indicates bad omen or devilish. If the name __Ghana_ is taken into consideration by the President and his cabinet, Ghana will never remain the same.
Moreover, the Bishop made it point blank that, there are forces of darkness working against the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo , therefore he should be very careful.
He went further to say, President Nana Addo can enjoy the presidency for a very long time only if he remains under the shield of the Almighty God.
As he used his slogan which says ” _The_ _Battle_ _Is_ _The_ _Lord’s_ ” throughout the election, he should never refrain from that. He should continue believing and trusting in the Lord, for he will remain president for the rest of his life.
Bishop J.N.K Boateng, concluded that, Ghana will flourish in goodness, if _Goldcoast_ becomes the present name of the country and remains forever.
The name _Ghana_ came from nowhere and it is affecting the wellbeing of the country and it’s offspring.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and his cabinet members should take this message into consideration and heed to what the Lord says, he concluded.
