Co-Founder of Afro-Nation Ghana, Adesegun Adeosun was in an interview with Hitz Fm’s Andy Dosty and the host of the DayBreak Hitz crew as they discussed artistes and the Afro-Nation Ghana Show which is coming off in December this year.
The entrepreneur made some comments about dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy and the progress Nigerian artistes are making in the music world as compared to Ghanaian artistes.
At a point, he sounded disappointed as he tried to make sense of how Ghanaian artistes behave and and how much effort they put in their work as musicians and music makers.
He said, “Nigerians are stubborn. We do not take no for answer. Ghanaians are just calm and relaxed. My advise with Ghanaian artistes is they need to come together, collaborate among themselves. The moment they do that, they’d have more push to the international level.”
He also explained that, to get out of this predicament, Ghanaian artistes need to be ready to work with them(Nigerians), as they are ever ready and willing to work; he further explained the importance of collaborations and features in music these days by tagging them as the latest “competition.”
When asked how about Stonebwoy’s and how well his latest song, Ololo featuring Teni was doing in Nigeria, he replied in the affirmative, as he further went on to commend him for his musical genius.
See what he had to say about Stonebwoy.
