Though Chicago Fire ended the season trophiless Ghanaian attacker Patrick Nyarko is likely to walk home with an individual award after his goal was nominated for the best goal of the season.
The 29-year-old Kumasi-born’s goal against New York Red Bulls has dominated the list of goals gunning for the award is likely to win the coveted price on December 3, 2015.
Nyarko, a former Opoku Ware student, is not the only Ghanaian nominated for an award on the MLS Awards Night as goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is also in the running to win the league’s save of the season.
