“Justice For 9-Year-Old Girl who Has Been Defiled, Damaged and Completely Paralysed by a Fisherman at Komenda”

Another investigation done by Openghana.com an online portal indicates that there has been another horrific and terrible defilement case again in a town call Komenda in the central region.

From 2014 to 2017 the central region alone has recorded 1831 rape and defilement cases which is really amazing.

Brief about the Case
Through our investigation, the information currently on our table Indicate that on 03/06/2017 of about 6pm the victim 9- year old name withheld left home to buy biscuit at the nearby store, on her way she met the Accused 19 year old fishermen in the same vicinity lured her into an uncomplicated building close to DCA junior high school at Komenda and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.

After the abominable act by the accused around 7pm same day the victim was in a critical condition who couldn’t walk and started bleeding blood from her Virgina and Tissues hanging in it including her womb out of her virgina and started crawling.

Because of her unbearable condition her grandmother rushed her to Komenda health center where she was referred to the metro hospital, cape coast and subsequently to cape coast teaching Hospital where she was admitted for two weeks and discharged after a successful surgical operation.

The accused was arrested on 05/06/17 and currently on a bail and to appear before court on 16/11/17.

The victim is a granddaughter of a poor fishmonger at Komenda and need justice.

Currently the doctor’s report on our table indicate that the 9-Year Old victim will forever remain childless due to the tendency of the sexual act by the accused, and currently couldn’t walk and even money to feed on is a major problem talk of money for drugs and checkups, the pictures of the victim is very disturbing.

Based on the Criminal Offense Act – 1960 (Act 29) section 101 we are therefore advocating for Justice for the 9-year old poor girl.

One of Some top personality in the country who is also advocating for justice for the poor girl is Hon. Elizabeth Agyeman the Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister.
