Is it just me, or does Sarkodie pass for a motivational speaker?
Anyone who follows or has followed Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie for a while, knows that he is one for uplifting and motivating the youth to attaining their fullest potential in whatever field or endeavour they find themselves.
Coming up from a place of desolation himself, Sarkodie, affectionately called ‘Obidi’, has been through the toughest of times to get to where he is today, and as such, is in the best of positions to illuminate the youngings on the come up and point them in the right direction towards the attainment of their goals.
In a recent post on his Facebook page, the Tema boy who defied so many societal and stereotypical odds, rose through the ranks and won a BET, adviced that giving up is not worth it.
He wrote, “Guys giving up is NOT worth it! How many times have you given up in the past only to look back and think to yourself? “ If only I kept going.”
