The long awaited Eco-Industrial Park project to be built at Agona Ashanti has seen the green light.
A statement signed by Mr Ofori Amanfo Joe a Policy Advisor for the project indicates that the project which was launched a while ago will soon take off.
According to him the chief and the Agona Traditional Council has release 150 acres of Land to an NGO, IDEO Foundation, and Industrial Development Association of Ghana (IDA-GH) for that project.
The project sought to release the burdens of artisans by providing them with plots of land to establish their business.
Kumasi and Agona Magazines are choked. Now the chance has come for any artisan who wants a big space to do his work, he added
The Executive Councils of IDEO Foundation, an NGO and Industrial Development Association of Ghana (IDA- GH) are throwing the challenge to any interested person, group of persons who are in need of Land for any business done at Magazine ranging from auto mechanics, spare parts dealers, assembling of cars and many more to come and register.
This is to embrace the idea of the ruling government’s One District One Factory concept.
We are calling on Investors, individuals, private businessmen, agencies and all those who need land for any developmental project to contact the Policy Advisor of IDEO Foundation.
