Information reaching us at openghana.com says that the Bank of Ghana has introduced some specimen of the long awaited speculations of the GH¢100 and GH¢200 notes to the country’s currency denomination mix.
This news was set to have been passed by the Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Ernest Addison at a press conference in Accra on Friday, the 29th of November, 2019.
There are also reports of a new GH¢2 coin which will be replacing the current note that we know.
More details of the release has not been made know to the public yet.
