The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) this day has released the list of shortlisted players for the upcoming 2019 CAF awards which will be held on Tuesday the 7th of January 2020 in Hurghada, Egpyt.
Inside the 30-man squad shortlist is Ghana’s latest wonder boy, André Ayew and Thomas Partey.
The list also contains former champion Mohammed Salah, of Egypt and a host of other popular African Stars.
Even though the list looks tough amd almost difficult to predict, Ghanaians are excited about the news and are positive of making some headway in the competition.
Swansea City superstar and son of ace Ghanaian footballer Pele, also made it to the list with some impressive pitch performances this season and many are happy for the heights he’s attaining.
Atletico Madrid Star boy, Thomas Partey, who was on the list same time last year has also been nominated following his performace in both national and club football and his latest purchase and part ownership of club Alcobendas as believed by many.
This nomination comes shortly after the duo’s splendid performances in the just ended African Cup of Nations with the BlackStars and their respective performances club performances over the past few months.
Ghanaians are greatly excited about this news and are them the very best of luck on the night of the awards.
