Mr. Bube Umar got his right wrist chopped off by his follow Fulani herdsmen at Ashakoko, Ejura in the Ashanti region.
According to the Police report by Constable Mohammed Gafaro, from Ejura police station, one Ali Abubakar Chief of Fulani’s, Ejura reported to the police on 15/08/18 around 6pm same day that suspects Ali Alhaji Alhassan and Bube Alhaji Moro lured victim Bube Umar, all Fulani herdsmen to a nearby bush at Ejura Ashakoko and chopped off victim’s right wrist with a sharp object believed to be a cutlass.
As to what cause the misunderstanding is yet to be establish but currently the Victim is on admission at Ejura Government Hospital receiving treatment.
Police on receiving this Information Went to a nearby bush behind World Vision church, Ashakoko-Ejura where the chopped right palm of the victim, Bube Umar was found lying under a mango tree with blood stains at the scene.Victim was visited at the hospital and was met on admission bed with the right hand bandaged and responding to treatment.
Dr. Menye Mensah, Medical Officer in charge of the hospital said the palm is not viable anymore when shown to him at the hospital and handed over to the Fulani Chief for burial, no arrest made so far.
